Please ensure the following are in place before submitting an EOI:

- PIC Number

- Live on the property

- Mimimum paddock space 3 acres without other livestock

- Minimum 10 acres for breeding (i.e. 3 females no bull)

- Shaded areas available to cattle.

- Standing dam or creek desirable in hot regions

- Reliable water supply

- Plans for feeding and supplementation if needed

- Basic holding facilities. A small pen and chute with a headbale or access to portable yards via your vet. If you are looking for breeders you will need proper crush and yards.

- A tick management strategy or willing to treat

We specialise in the sale of pet steer pairs to novice cattle owners. Well socialized steers range from at $3500-4000 + GST. They are sold as pairs unless you have existing and similar sized cattle for company. We find that halter training when companion steers seek attention is not only unnecessary, but can be detrimental to their bonding process depending on their personality. Pricing is based on colour, anticipated size, temperament, and whether or not halter training is desired by the purchaser.

Breeding cattle (heifers, bulls, and cows) are not sold as pets and are reserved for breeding with sale preference to registered studs. Pricing starts at $5000 and is determined by sex, size, conformation, colour, temperament, coat quality etcetera and CANNOT be finalized until the time of sale offer.

All our cattle are vaccinated with 7 in 1 and tick blooded. If bred by us, they will always come heavily socialised and with brushes, halters, leads, an information booklet and aftersale support.

Moving cattle across the tick line will incurr an additional fee at cost for a private tick inspection due to recent changes in Biosecurity requirements. If transporting multiple cattle, it is possible to request a transporter cross the tick line via a cattle dip and inspection sale. If we have the opportunity we will endeavour to share this cost among multiple buyers.
